1. Create a new reward

Click on the "Add reward" button within your guild.

2. Choose the NFT

Choose the "NFT - Create a gated NFT" reward option

3. Set up the NFT reward

Media: You can choose a cover photo in JPG / PNG / GIF format and up to 100MB.

Name: Be creative, only your imagination sets the limit.

Metadata description: You can let the members know about your project, your ideas and reason behind the NFT reward. If you're feeling adventurous, why not hide some Easter eggs as well?

Metadata values: You can give attributes to the NFT, for example how rare it is.

Availability: You can choose between Non-transferable and Transferable NFTs.

Limitations: There are two types of limitations, the Supply and the Claiming time.

1. Supply:

  • You can choose to have Unlimited or Limited Supply for the NFT and for the Limited version, you can set a maximum amount for availability.

  • Claiming per address sets a limit on how many times members can buy the NFT with the same address.

2. Claiming time:

  • You can decide when the claiming should start and how long it should go on.

Chains: You can choose between the available chains from the dropdown menu.

Price: Add the prices you would like the members to be able to buy your NFT for. The collectors will pay an additional Guild minting fee, which they can find more information about in our Guild Base Fee article.

Payout address: The system will automatically add the addres you are logged in with, but feel free to paste in the address you would like to receive the payments with.

4. Create NFT & continue setup

Click on the "Create NFT & continue setup at the bottom right corner. This will start a transaction that will alow you to save the created NFT.

5. Add the NFT to a role

You can add the NFT reward to an alrady existing role, or you can create a new one. You can see the added supply and claming time attributes of the NFT. It is important to know, that the members have to fulfill the requirements of the role you add the NFT reward to.

6. All set up

You should be all set up after you added the NFT to a role and saved your changes.

Good to know:

  • The NFT can only be added to one role in your guild.

  • If you change the attributes of the NFT, for example the cover art or name, that change will also be visible in the already minted NFTs.

  • All of the created NFTs will be listed on Opensea. If you edit the NFT the changes will be visible there as well and it will show as one collection.

  • If you choose to create a new NFT, that will create a new collection on Opensea.
