Members can choose between two types of connections with Farcaster. These allow us to set up various requirements based on member activities.
1. Direct connection
You can connect Farcaster to your profile as you would connect any other social options.
Click on your address at the top right corner of the page, find the Farcaster, and click on "Connect". With this version of connection, you can decide which of your Farcaster accounts you would like to use with Guild.
The direct connection comes with a fee, which in the case of using Warpcast is 10 Warp, paid to Farcaster.
2. Indirect connection
Our system can detect the member's actions on Farcaster, in case they have the same verified address, as they use in the Guild profile. With this option, the members can not decide which of their Farcaster accounts they would like to use, we can only detect the firstly created one.
